Right now I am posting(and the last post as well) from work! We have no kids and have had none for almost an entire week. Which is really weird seeing as how we had 8 about two weeks ago(we hold a max of 6-we had them sleeping on the floors! on mats of course). Most of them came in overnight Saturday, so it was just a temporary situtaion until they could be transported to another facility. So everything is beyond clean and there is nothing to do but sit and stare at the four walls. You can watch TV, but my partner is playing his XBox right now. So I have nothing else better to do than play around on the computer. Tough job, huh? So I thought I would do some posting. Dave-I bet you never have to worry about never having any kids in your facility.
We have now nicknamed Daisy our "Howling Houdini". Back in the beginning when she first started having to bring her to work and leave her in the car, it was warm out one day so I left the windows cracked. I thought that they were up far enough that she could not escape....but I was wrong. I was inside and saw her outside the door on our camera...so I had to go and put her back in the van. To remedy that we thought we would use one of those red wire leads and a harness to keep her in the back seat and still be able to keep the windows down when it was hot. She managed to escape from her harness. So we purchased a collapsable soft sided crate (which I guess was dumb on our part). But needless to say we no longer have a soft sided pet crate. It has collapsed...never to be assembled again! So we thought we would fix her this time, we found a regular plastic pet crate at a garage sale.....so we bought it. She has now managed to escape from there. I have no idea how she is doing it this time. I think we might need to double check to the door to make sure it is latching tightly/properly. May cannot come fast enough....she can stay at her new home and howl all she wants! Well that's about all for now....
