Awesome Slow Cooker Pot Roast


INGREDIENTS
2 (10.75 ounce) cans condensed cream of mushroom soup
1 (1 ounce) package dry onion soup mix
1 1/4 cups water
5 1/2 pounds pot roast


DIRECTIONS
In a slow cooker, mix cream of mushroom soup, dry onion soup mix and water. Place pot roast in slow cooker and coat with soup mixture.
Cook on High setting for 3 to 4 hours, or on Low setting for 8 to 9 hours


REVIEW:
This was really good and simple too! What I liked about it was that it made its own gravy! I added 2 small cans of mushroom pieces to it....next time I think I would possibly consider adding 2 packages of onion soup mix for a stronger flavor and also possibly flouring the roast and then giving it a quick frying to help to thicken the gravy. We had to add flour at the end of cooking to aid in thickening. We would make this again.
